Committed relationship with yourself

Often times when we speak about love and commitment our mind immediately shifts to our committed relationship; but what about your committed relationship with self?

Only this week did I reflect on this following question: As the individual that I am, what am I committed to in life?

Values: What are the values that I must commit to in my daily living?

Traditions: What family traditions do I want to start committing to in order to pass down to my children?

Self-Care: What is the self-care routine I am committed to keeping no matter what my day involves?

What are activities that I must start committing to for my well being?

What is one new thing I can commit to today that could change my entire life?

And when times get tough what positive thoughts am I committed to reminding myself?

I took a notebook and ask myself these questions and I suggest you do the same.

Grab yourself a notebook, your favorite pen and jot down everything you must commit to in order for you to be the best possible version of yourself.

We have spent our entire lives meeting new faces.

Perhaps we have found the time to come face to face with ourselves and meet who we truly are, what we value and what we are ready to commit to as a person.

With Love and Gratitude,
