Queen of the Week (26 January 2020)

Brittinie Wick

Hello Queens! A week passes so fast! And if you haven’t seen the hustle in the Queendom, it may mean that you’ve been hustling too. Well, now is about the time we slow down and recognize one of our Queens that’s been bust her butt working hard to inspire, coach, and guide you. Crowned for Success is all about empowering women to meet their highest potential… Well, we want to take a second and honor the Queens in this Queendom for doing just that. This week we are highlighting our RVP Queen Brittinie Wick.  She is another hard-working fitness powerhouse!

So, lets to get to know Brittinie a little better.

Tell us a little bit about yourself

Hey Queens!! My name is Brittinie, and I am a health and fitness coach, as well as a nutritionist. I am an Air Force veteran of eight years, which is where I met my husband. We have a handsome little boy and another one on the way. I love going to the gym and trying new workouts, but lifting is my favorite. When women tell me how they feel more confident, are able to fit in certain clothes, and feel better about themselves and the gym, it’s one of the best feelings in the world and something I live for.

What do you do?

I help Queens gain their confidence back, improve their overall quality of life, and promote self-care. I do this with a strong commitment towards personalized service and individual attention by providing the best information and services through fitness, nutrition, and accountability.

Why do you do what you do?

Seeing Queens push outside their comfort zone, challenge themselves, and achieve more than what they expect, and their reaction to ALL of that is why I do what I do. The pride and excitement that they have fuels my passion!

What are you working on now?

I’m currently working on creating videos for my nutrition program and my mindset program. I want to provide a different tool (audible) for my clients to use to learn.

When you’re working with Queens, what do you hope they take away from your interactions with them?

I hope that the Queens that I work with ditch the diet mentality, and the “all-or-nothing” mentality when it comes to fitness and nutrition. We tend to get stick in our heads that if we can’t eat healthy all day, or have an hour to spend working out, there’s no point in doing it, and so it gets pushed back for another day. As long as it’s SOMETHING, we are still making progress to our goals!

What is your biggest piece of advice

My biggest piece of advice is “Health is a marathon, not a sprint,” so be patient and be consistent. It’s all about those small compound effects!
