I’ve been following Bossladiesmindset IG for a few years and one day in late 2019 I saw a post they were recruiting for Regional Vice Presidents…aka RVPs. I was actively looking for a mentor or someone who could help me in the social media world because I was just getting started with my blog, RelianceLegacy.com and I had no idea how to elevate the vision I had for my business. When I saw the recruiting IG post I instantly thought, “okay, I wonder what this is all about…” so I read the caption and left an emoji.
Within minutes I had an awesome RVP reach out to me and told me to DM her. I sent this RVP a DM with loaded questions because I was looking for a specific type of mentor. I was looking for someone who was hands-on and who could help me 1:1. She shared with me the links to watch the video about the program and to schedule my interview.
Coincidence?
I waited a few days pondering if it was a good idea or not. I didn’t want to invest time and money in another company and not get exactly what I was looking for in return. Prior to reaching out to Crowned For Success, I was connected in a group chat from another boss babe organization and to my surprise, I recognized one of the names in there. It was the name of the girl who DMd me about the RVP program. So I messaged her privately and asked her again about the RVP program. At that point, I knew I had to take a chance. I knew right then and there I was being called to the RVP program.
My interview with Jihan went amazingly. I was able to ask her questions and that settled my mind, a lot! The program started a handful of weeks later and guess what!? I instantly started learning how to elevate my business and narrow down my niche. All my questions about building an online business and what my next steps should be were answered throughout the course.
What Does Graduation Mean?
Graduating out of the RVP program was what I wanted to achieve and I did it…within six-weeks. It’s not six-weeks of working on it for eight-hours a day…no! It’s a self-paced program that I took my time on and worked through the videos, the community mentoring calls, the group chats, and the worksheets. Graduation meant I could use Crowned For Success’s platforms to get my message out to the world and I wanted that so badly!
After graduation, I knew exactly what message I wanted to share. And, most importantly HOW I was going to share it. I jumped on writing my first blog post for them, which you can read here. I had a lot of confidence in expanding myself because I had room to fail forward and step outside of my comfort zone. Crowned For Success provided a platform for me to work on that was already established and on top of that, there were other Queens using it to expand themselves too. It gave me confidence…like, “Hey, if they can do it, so can I!” I joined their Podcast committee and created a show called, Military Wives On Purpose. I also joined their YouTube committee and have made a couple of different series on there.
And After Graduation?
After using their platforms for a couple of months, I saw an increase in Reliance Legacy’s expansion because I was able to narrow down my niche and gain a lot of knowledge and confidence. I’ve grown what started as a blog into eCourses for personal growth, live stories on IG, posting on IGTV regularly, working on collaborations, I became a Life Purpose Coach and I even started my own YouTube channel. I wouldn’t have been able to do everything I did if I didn’t first have access to use Crowned For Success’s platforms.
Now, I have the privilege and honor of being an intern for Crowned For Success and working on the relaunch of their YouTube channel. I’ve made friends from all over the world. We support each other’s businesses, we see how we can do collaborations and how we can boost each other’s brand. Let me ask you this…where can you find a sisterhood like that???
Get The Most Benefits From The Community
At first, I was little on the quiet side. I didn’t actively participate in the chats or on the Zoom calls, but I stay connected. I found the more I got active and shared my voice, the more I felt connected with the RVP sisterhood. Now, I’m laughing all the time with ladies I’ve never met in person, but who I see regularly.
The RVP program is more than a program!!! It’s a community where you can get inspired, uplifted, empowered not just in business, but in life. I’m grateful for this sisterhood. My business definitely wouldn’t have escalated the way it has if I didn’t join, but more importantly, I wouldn’t have been as far as I am in my growth journey if it wasn’t for these amazing mentors. So will I see you in our sisterhood? Will I share stories and laughs with you? I sure hope so. One thing we all believe in is, there is room for all of us at the top!
