Queen of the Week (26 July 2020)

Omega Hilbron

Phew! It’s been a while since we’ve crowned a Queen of the Week. And this week is a special Queen, Omega Hilbron. She’s on our sales team, and will soon be taking apart of our Youtube, as a confidence coach!!! Omega has done so much thus far I can’t wait to see all the things that she contributes to you our Queens and to our Queendom.

Tell us a little bit about yourself

My name is, Omega Hilbrom. I was born and brought up on the island of Savai’i, Samoa in the South Pacific, with 3 sisters and 3 brothers in a matriarchal home.  My amazing Samoan Mom, who was a High Chief, businesswoman and an advocate for the environment and the voiceless. And although my English father died when I was 5 I was raised with the adage. Meaning, “It takes a village to raise a child”  and the village was made up of my Mom, Grandmother and the rest of my Samoan extended family.

I grew up helping to the running of the family-owned hotel. It was that experience that fostered my love of meeting new people and learning about different cultures as well as running a business. Let’s see I was a flight attendant for two years before completing a BA in History/Politics/Management. My studies lead me to Samoa, Fiji and Australia. Upon graduating I got married and moved to Oman for work opportunities with my husband who’s an airline pilot.

My husband and I have been married for almost 16 years and I am a full-time mom to my two boys 7 and 12 years old. I own a small business called Smallprint which is a bespoke fingerprint silver jewelry franchise that I run from home. Along with being an active mom and getting involved with school activities I am also on the committee for the ANZO (Australians and New Zealanders in Oman) group for five years. They organize social events for their members all year round and one of them being a successful annual themed ball that sells out each year with over 400 attendings.

I speak fluent English and Samoan and a bit of German from time spent in Austria growing up. And I plan trips to a new destination every year.

Why do you do what you do?

I joined Crowned for Success through the RVP Program in Sept 2019. When I started I lost my mom, which was such a blow emotionally. After months of grieving, I completed the program and now I am on a mission to continue my mom’s empowering legacy. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for taking the course because now I am helping more women find their purpose. My passion is to empower more moms who are trying to find their purpose, to pursue their goals and dreams for self-fulfillment. Women not unlike myself who feel and know they have more to offer the world and other women. I believe that all women have what it takes to be successful in any path they choose. And I am making my way to become a Life Coach and a Motivational Speaker to women with limiting beliefs holding them back. You can follow and join my journey on http://www.globalpacificwoman.com.

What is your biggest piece of advice

Believe in yourself and your ability to pursue your goals. Where your focus goes energy flows and this I’ve found to be absolutely true. Surround yourself with like-minded people as they will only make you want to succeed. Read a lot and learn from those in the know for they’re using the proven methods to succeed in your goals.

I decided to join the Sales team early on and at first, I had my doubts but then I decided I was going to be good at this. I put my head down and studied the manuals given and learned a lot from Wendy, Jihan and Kristi’s webinars and proceeded to conduct my own first booked interview. Within two hours my first recruit signed up and paid in full and the happiness I felt from empowering another woman was so fulfilling knowing I got here from that same training!

Eight months ago I wouldn’t have believed this could happen. If you want to join the RVP program contact Omega directly on globalpacificwoman@gmail.com or follower send me a DM on Instagram @PacificQueendom

Omega HilbronI’m proud of my Samoan culture and believe sharing our cultures leads to more appreciation of each other and we can live in harmony respecting each other’s way of life as long as it’s not hurting people. So if you want to feature any woman empowerment qualities from your community contact me directly on the email given or @globalpacificwoman get on my blog and Instagram to spread the word.

You’ve been an inspiration, despite the last year of sorrow and challenges. I’m so grateful for you and for the reminders you give to stay focused and be supportive. Seeing you own this next part of your journey is so so heartening to witness.
